Arctic Norway (Feb 15 – Mar 3, 2017)
4 of us spent 15 days in Northern Norway in February 2017 to experience the arctic winter and photograph the spectacular Northern Lights. This is the day-by-day blog with photographs of the trip. We spent a day in Oslo before we flew into Leknes on Feb 17 morning. We spent a week in Lofoten Islands staying in different villages. We then boarded the Hurtigruten ship on the night of Feb 24 to go to Tromsø. We spent 4 days exploring the area before heading to Alta. After spending 2 days there we got back to Oslo.

Fall Colors along US Highway 2 Between Stevens Pass & Leavenworth
My favorite spots along US Highway 2 between Stevens Pass & Leavenworth to capture spectacular fall colors in October.

Mt. Baker & Mt. Shuksan (Oct 2012)
Although the area is renowned for winter activities such as skiing and snowshoeing, I consider early October to be one of the best times to visit the Mt. Baker Ski area. The highlights are the fall foliage along the Artist Point and other trails and the Mt. Shuksan reflections at both Picture Lake and Highwood Lake.
